You own the build, the licence sets the scope
Every purchase hands over the full source code and the finished, deployed website. The licence controls how many businesses or brands you may run on that build, not whether you own it.
Licences are listed on each website in the marketplace. Some builds offer a single tier, others offer several, and a few are sold once and then retired.
The tiers you will see
Single — one live website for one business. The most common choice for a company launching its own site.
Extended — use on multiple projects you own, including client work where you keep the code.
Commercial — resell or deploy the build for clients as part of a paid service.
White-label — remove Kinetic attribution entirely and present the build as your own product.
Upgrading later
Upgrades are always available and always priced as the difference between what you hold and what you want. Downgrades are not offered — you keep the highest licence you have ever held.
Upgrade from Account → Licences. Approved upgrades reissue your licence certificate automatically, so your paperwork always matches the tier you hold.
Buying more than one licence
If you want to run the same build for a second brand, buy an additional licence rather than upgrading. Both sit against the same purchase in your account and each gets its own certificate.
